BaWO4多晶料的合成与优质单晶的生长
Raw Material Synthesis and Growth of High Quality BaWO4 Single Crystal
【摘要】 以 99. 99% 的BaCO3 和WO3 为原料通过固相反应直接合成BaWO4 多晶料,采用提拉法沿a轴和c轴均可生长出22mm×80mm的无色透明的BaWO4 单晶。X射线粉末衍射实验确定所获BaWO4 晶体的结构属于四方晶系,空间群I41 /a。通过浮力法测得其密度为 6. 393g/cm3。用莫氏硬度计测得BaWO4 晶体的莫氏硬度为 4。用V型棱镜法测得BaWO4 晶体的折射率在 1. 84左右。
【Abstract】 This paper reports the polycrystalline materials synthesis of BaWO4 by means of a solid phase reaction of 4N pure BaCO3 and WO3. A transparent BaWO4 single crystal with dimension of 22mm×80mm can be obtained along a-axis or c-axis by Czochralski method with the synthesized polycrystalline materials. The cell parameters of BaWO4 crystal were measured by X-ray powder diffraction. The density of BaWO4 measured by Buoyancy method is 6.393g/cm3,and the Mohs hardness is determined as 4. The refractive indices of as-grown BaWO4 crystal were measured to be nearly 1.84 by V-prism method.
