【Abstract】 Experiments were conducted in petri dishes allowing termites (Coptotermes formosanus) to crawl and nest in clean river sand (untreated check) or in sand treated with 0.0125, 0.025, 0.05, or 0.1% a.i. imidacloprid. Other experiments allowed termites to feed in the presence of wood soaked with imidacloprid. Results consistently showed 100% mortality 24 h after exposure to sand treated with the pesticide at 0.1%, thereby indicating no repellent effects of imidacloprid to the common termite.更多还原
