【Abstract】 The performance, fuel consumption and exhaust emission of a direct injection compression ignition (CI) engine with dual injection system at constant and varied load conditions were measured. The engine used alcohol as main fuel sprayed by an injecting system and diesel oil as ignition fuel injected by another injection system. The test results showed that the ethanol engine with diesel oil as igniting fuel had opacity smoke decreased by 56%, NO x emission decreased by 50%～68%, and CO and THC emissions increased significantly compared w ith those from a conventional diesel engine.更多还原
