【Abstract】 The silicone oil damper is better than the rubber damper at torsional vibration damping. Through the comparative analysis and test of the performances of a four-cylinder engine with a silicone oil damper and with a rubber damper, it was found that the main resonant torsional vibration amplitute, the maximum tensional stress of the crankshaft, and the noise from the front end of the engine are more lower as the engine was fitted with a silicone oil damper, therefore the crankshaft runs more stably and the engine works more reliably.更多还原
