【Abstract】 Wellek’s theory was shaped by the theories of Russia Formalism and Prague School and Ingarden’s aesthetic theory. His insistence on the study of “literature itself” permeated his whole theory. This paper discusses Wellek’s pursuit on the science and independence of literature theory and his contribution to the modern literature theory from several perspectives such as the objects and the methods and the historicism.更多还原
