【Abstract】 When we read an article,we often run across some new words.How to infer the new word meanings will be helpful in our correct understanding the whole passage.Many methods can be used to infer the word meanings.First,we can infer the new word meaning by definition,appositive,attributive clause and explanatory words.Second,we can do this by comparing the similar and opposite relationships between the words.Third,we can know the new word meaning by looking for some examples which can explain it and by the word formation.Finally,we can do this through context and our common sense.更多还原
