超细纳米TiO2光催化灭菌的研究
Studies on Bactericidal Activity of Ultrafine Titanium Dioxide Nanopartilces Photocatalysis
【摘要】 在近紫外光的照射下,对比研究超细纳米TiO2与DegussaP25型TiO2光催化的灭菌效果.结果表明,粒径更小,比表面积更大的超细TiO2有助于提高光催化活性,能更有效地杀灭大肠杆菌.采用脉冲等强度均一电场凝胶电泳的研究表明,纳米TiO2光催化能诱导大肠杆菌染色体DNA双链发生严重断裂.
【Abstract】 Under the irradiation of near-UV light, the photocatalytic bactericidal activities of the ultrafine titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles and Degussa P25 TiO2 are studied. The results indicate that the ultrafine TiO2 exhibits stronger bactericidal activity for E.coli than the P25 TiO2. The fact is due to the reasons that the ultrafine TiO2nanoparticles has smaller sizes, higher surface area to volume ratios, which enhances the photoactivity of nano-photocatalysts. The results of contour-clamped homogeneous electric pulsed-field gel electrophoresis provide the evidence that the chromosomes DNA of E.coli are badly damaged by the photocatalytsis of the TiO2 nanoparticles.
