【Abstract】 In terms of the integration point of theories of international trade & FDI, there exist the following predicaments: The hypotheses in relation to traditional international trade and FDI are different; there is no such theory which can embrace both vertical and horizontal FDI; the old theory is under the impact of the new. By enlarging the definition of the comparative advantage, the new comparative advantage becomes fundamental causes generating FDI and international trade.
