【摘要】 ArcIMS是ESRI公司开发的一种WebGIS产品,主要包括客户端和服务器端两部分,其中ArcXML是与空间服务器通讯的标准语言,当客户端向运行在ArcIMS空间服务器上的地图服务发请求时,请求的信息就是采用ArcXML描述的.在分析了ArcIMS体系结构的基础上,探讨了在网络环境下,如何使用ArcIMS来制作专题图,包括利用图层自身属性表、第三方DBF文件和在ArcSDEforSQLServer环境下利用SQLServer数据库中的属性表生成专题图,通过ArcXML给出了详细的实现方法,并给出柱状图和饼图的两种具有代表性的实例.更多还原

【Abstract】 As one of the ESRI’s WebGIS products, ArcIMS mainly consists of client side and server side, among which ArcXML is the standard communicating language between client side and server side. When the client side sends a request to the map service running in the ArcIMS spatial servicer, the requested information is descripted with ArcXML. Based on analyzing the structure of ArcIMS, this paper introduces how to make thematic maps with ArcIMS under the internet environment. Thematic maps are generated from the own attribute table of the map, the third part dbf file, and the table that comes from SQL Server database under the ArcSDE for SQL Server environment. By using the ArcXML, the paper describes in detail the method of making thematic maps, and at last, gives two kinds of representative instances of column maps and pie maps.更多还原
