【Abstract】 The Internet key exchange protocol is a hybrid protocol. Its purpose is to negotiate, and provide authenticated keying material for security associations in a protected manner. A study on fundamental principles of the IKE is conducted , and its security problems such as Denial of service attack ,Man in middle attack etc, are discussed.
