【Abstract】 The poplar canker has been an important biological disaster of poplar plantation in China, and is becoming more serious than ever before. From the viewpoints of plant histopathology, physiological pathology and pathological chemistry, this paper reviewed and summed up the achievements obtained and problems existed in the study on the interaction of poplar and canker pathogen.
