【Abstract】 Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is being adopted by more and more enterprises. It has optimized the supply chain systems of enterprises and made benefit and efficiency of enterprises improved constantly, then how VMI can be effectively implemented has become the focus that enterprises pay close attention to. This text analyzed the mechanism that VMI use, put forward the detailed steps of implementing VMI effectively, refined the main point of implementation of VMI, and carried on real example analysis of proving VMI to Nestle and Carrefour.
