【Abstract】 Through the theme comparison between "the Snow Country" and "the Dead", the author holds that James Joyce and Kawabata Yasunari share similar concepts on the scopes of life and death on the basis of the fact that these two ideas are mutually inclusive rather than exclusive. Meanwhile, the two novels reflect different aesthetic values against the background of East and West traditions.更多还原
