【Abstract】 The effect of nonlinear self-steeping on the modulation instability in decreasing dispersion fiber (DDF) with different group dispersion profiles is investigated. The results showed that there were different best values on the dispersion decreasing parameter of different DDF and that the gain spectrum was the broadest. The gain spectrum was 0 when the value of the dispersion decreasing parameter exceeded a certain threshold.更多还原
