基于均匀级联光纤光栅的全光纤脉冲压缩器的数值模拟
Numerical simulation of the all-fiber compact compressor based on cascaded uniform fiber gratings
【摘要】 给出了基于均匀级联光纤光栅的全光纤可调谐脉冲压缩器的结构设计。对皮秒脉冲在此压缩器中的演化过程进行了数值模拟和分析。数值结果表明,适当选择光纤光栅及入射脉冲的参数,脉冲能够得到有效压缩。进一步的研究发现,如果脉冲光源带有一定的负啁啾,脉冲将被压缩的更窄,而且所需的光栅长度也明显减小。
【Abstract】 The evolution of picosecond pulses in cascaded fiber gratings has been simulated and analyzed. The numerical results show that picosecond pulses can be compressed effectively, if the parameters of gratings and pulses were chosen properly. The further study reveals that output pulses could become narrower and the fiber gratings needed would be shorter, if the negative chirp were induced by pulse laser.
