【Abstract】 Multinational Corporations (MNCs) set up their R&D centers in China and it will influence Chinese economic development, progress of science and technology and so on. Taking an example,Shanghai,this paper will analyze why MNCs set up their R&D centers in China,and how these R&D centers influence the regional innovation system.
