【Abstract】 Pheromone binding proteins(PBP)of insects are soluble acidic proteins, concentrated in the lymph of chemosensory sensilla of insect antenna and belonging to one major class of odorant binding proteins(OBP)family. Pheromone binding proteins are thought to play an important role in insects for perceiving pheromone molecule. Many researches have been carried through in the recent decade. Biochemical characteristics, distribution in antenna, physiological role, biological synthesis and degradation, research methods of pheromone binding proteins are reviewed in the paper.更多还原
