【Abstract】 Red imported fire ant, Solenopsis invicta Buren, a very dangerous invasive insect pest to the United States, Australia and other countries. It originated from South America, is now occurring in Taiwan of China and threatening Asian areas including the mainland of China. It is crucial necessary and urgent to take strict precautions against it. The paper gives an introduction of the fire ant including its morphological characters for identification, biological and invasive characters and control methods.更多还原
