【Abstract】 Between the Great Wall and environment of surrounding settlements, there exists close interdependence on history, culture, ecological environment and landscape. Only when the conservation of the Great wall is organically combined with the development of surrounding settlements, Virtuous interaction with win-win results can be reached, and renewal mechanism for sustainable development of the country can be established. Around the main subject of the Great Wall conservation, the authors think that renewal and remodeling of surrounding settlements should be conducted by overall planning and coordinated development on the planning and rehabilitation of habitation environment, housing design, building energy saving, preservation of traditional vernacular flavorful appearance and technical service support system.更多还原
