【Abstract】 During the anti-Japanese war, the circumstances of Shanxi had provided a broad arena for the women. Millions of women joined in the large-scaled yarn spinning and cloth weaving movement, and they formed new faith about life through the working. The women’s movement of spinning yarn and weaving cloth had liberated the women in the widest sense, making them cognizant of the value of their own lives and do the social work more actively.
