【Abstract】 Ballbar device is a common device for circular testing of machine tools which has many good qualities such as high precision simple installation short test time and no added parts. However ballbar device is rather limited in its capability to measure small radius contours and is only one-dimensional measurement. This paper presents a two-dimensional measurement device developed by Heidenhain. Typical error types and possible causes from circular testing are analyzed in detail and assess methods of circular tests are introduced. Examples of circular tests are explained at last.更多还原
