【Abstract】 Based on review of the literature and current code for highway route design, the theory and methods in designing shift lane are studied by analyzing the operation of vehicles. The style choice and optimal length design of shift lane are discussed. And key problems in design of shift lane are pointed out in this paper. Finally, a practical engineering example is given to demonstrate the validity and rationality of the theory and methods above.更多还原
