【Abstract】 In this paper, the requirements of VE to VPDM (Virtual Product Data Management) are discussed, and then the concept of VPDM based on ASP is put forward after combining the advanced concept of ASP. Then the differences between VPDM and the traditional PDM are discussed and the architecture of VPDM based on ASP is expounded based on the architecture of B/W/D.
