【Abstract】 The creativity of products is of vital importance in the competition of the market.Presents the background of occurrence of creative design, and the researches on it. Then analyses the basic idea, genetic operation and main characters of IGP. And in order to create the creative products , GP is used in creative design by using the genetic operation and dealing with the tree structure.
