【Abstract】 In the early of 1990’s, Dr. Mark Weiser initiated the new concept of “pervasive computing” ^[1].Since then a course to explore the next generation of computing has started. In this paper, we first introduce the initial research work on pervasive computing in Xerox PARC, and then describe the connotation of pervasive computing and the transition of computer generations. Finally we give the visions and challenges faced by some projects on pervasive computing.更多还原
