In order to build a robust data mining system, it is not enough to rely on mining algorithms only. The current so-called mining algorithms are not intelligent enough to mine the most interesting information. However, visualization techniques give us a hand. We integrate algorithms with the visualization techniques to build our data mining system named VisualDM.
