【Abstract】 An extended Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) was constructed which considered a two-level supply chain containing a manufacturer and a retailer and allowed the deterministic demand and shortage. In this model, two new factors, i.e., product’s expiry date and product’s retail price with relation to product’s storage time, were taken into account. Moreover, the retailer’s ordering policy was studied under the influence of the above new factors when the purchasing price was quantity discount or not. The theoretical analysis and data simulation show that if the retailer cooperates with the manufacturer fully, it will increase manufacturer’s profit and the two-level supply chain’s profit, and decrease the retailer’s profit.更多还原
