【Abstract】 In this paper we first analyze the form of hand-made Chinese paper cut-out of animal figures and decompose them into different decorative patterns, then we construct corresponding vectorization patterns to form a paper cut-out pattern bank. During the creation process, the user first composes the outline of the paper cut-out image, and then picks up some patterns from the bank to fill the space inside the paper cut-out image.
