【Abstract】 A new policy-based handoff framework in mobile IP networks is proposed and its operation mechanisms are analyzed.Simulation results show that this framework can make adaptive decision and dynamic control on handoff requests through abstract policy,according to the dynamic variety of the network resources,the specific service types and user’s customized requirement.This leads to effective improvement of handoff performance.更多还原
