【Abstract】 This paper introduces a new multicast routing protocol that exploits the broadcast nature of the wireless communication environmentand addresses the need for energy-efficient operation. On the construction of energy-efficient multicast tree,a node joins the multicast tree by takinginto consideration not only the incremental cost but also the energy consumption of it. This protocol uses a localized prediction scheme for treemaintenance. It provides a scheme to balance the energy consumption among all nodes.更多还原
