【Abstract】 Due to the rapid increment of software scale, complexity and function as well as the rapid development of software under theever-changing requirements and technologies, some current development methods are not so desirable. The paper presents a new method——component-based agile software development(CBASD). CBASD is an efficient combination of component-based software development(CBSD)and agile methodology.
