【Abstract】 Accurate and rapid license plate segmentation is a key step in the automatic recognition techniques of vehicle license plate. A rapidsegmentation method based on the texture features of characters is proposed by a two-step segmentation. The related plate’s area can be found by thefirst step. The characters in the license plate can be segmented accurately by the second step. Experimental results demonstrate efficiency androbustness of this segmentation method in the automatic recognition system.更多还原
