【Abstract】 Traditional secure concept can not meet the needs of todays complex information system in the open environment. With the increase of the dependence of the modern society to Internet, the survivability requirement of the computer network system is becoming urgent. This paper analyzes the importance of the systems survivability and proposes a requirements framework of survivability. The methodology of HWMSE is introduced as a way to test and evaluate the survivability of network system.
