【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the spatial data model, the OO characteristic of the spatial data and the abstract object data type of current ORDB, puts forward a spatial database storage model based on ORDB and addresses the design and implementation of spatial database in the distributed large scale GIS platform——VegaGIS.
