【摘要】 Contourlet变换是一种新的结合不可分离的方向滤波的小波变换,它除了具有一般小波变换的多尺度,局部性外,还具有方向性,各向异性。该文分析了contourlet变换的基本原理与变换的特点,改进了contourlet变换冗余大的缺点,提出了一种基于改进的contourlet变换的图像压缩算法。实验表明,在高压缩率下,文章的算法对于方向性明显的纹理图像具有良好的效果。更多还原

【Abstract】 A new extension to wavelet transform called contourlet is introduced.Its main feature is combining nonseparable directional filter with wavelet filter.We study and analyze the characteristic of contourlet,modify it to improve its efficiency and propose a scheme for low bit-rate image coding.Our experiments demonstrate that its psnr and visually quantity is superior to wavelet coding for images with textures and oscillatory patterns.更多还原
