【Abstract】 This paper holds that liberalism of empiricism has changed tremendously within the 200-year period from the 17th to 19th century.The changes are manifested in two aspects-methods of theoretical arguments,which are changed from those of the state of nature and the social contract to that of utilitarianism,and the contents and essence of liberalism which are from political liberalism to economic and social liberalism.更多还原
