基于边界图的纹理合成方法

【摘要】 已有的纹理合成方法往往难以很好地保持纹理中的边界结构特征·为此,提出一种利用纹元边界辅助合成的方法·新方法首先从样本纹理中抽取出“纹元边界图”,然后在此图的指导下,基于块纹理合成方法的流程对“纹元式纹理”的两种情况“覆盖式”和“非覆盖式”纹理分别采用“边界覆盖法”和“边界匹配法”进行纹理合成·与已有的合成方法相比,新方法能更好地保持纹理的边界结构特征,对很多“纹元式纹理”都达到了满意的效果并且合成速度很快·

【Abstract】 It is often difficult for existing texture synthesis methods to preserve the border structures of the sample texture. Because of this, a new method is presented that makes the borders to take effect in producing new textures by a border image so that the border structures can be well preserved, which is very suitable for a type of texture called “the texel-style texture” that is composed of some independent color pattern units. In this method, a border image is extracted first from the sample texture. Then, guided by the border image, respective synthesis methods are used for the two kinds of the texel-style textures, the overlaid texture and the un-overlaid texture. They are the “patch overlaying method” for the overlaid texture and the “patch matching method” for the un-overlaid texture. Compared with the existing methods, the method presented can preserve the border structures more efficiently to produce satisfactory results for the texel-style textures and run fast.
