【Abstract】 The production performance of animal and the quality of animal products could be improved when the earthworm was used as the feed additive in the livestock breeding. On the other hand, the earthworm could also increase animal’s immune competence when used as the feed additive. Therefore some animal diseases could be treated when the earthworm was used as Chinese medicine. And the environmental pollution of animal offal (such as animal manure, cushion grass, etc.) could be reduced when these offal was used to raise earthworms. At the same time, the high-quality feed of animal protein could be offered by earthworm. So the earthworm had the important function in the ecosystem of animal husbandry.更多还原
