【摘要】 玉米黄尾球跳甲(Sphaeroderma apicale Baly)为近年来在湖北省山区发现的一种危害玉米的新害虫。2002~2003年通过室内饲养和田间定点观察表明,该虫在宜昌市夷陵区1 年发生1 代,以成虫越冬,翌年4月底气温稳定在15~20℃时出蛰活动,取食禾本科杂草;5月中上旬玉米长出第5 片叶时开始迁入大田危害,取食叶肉;6月初至7月中旬幼虫潜叶危害;7月中下旬成虫开始羽化,陆续钻出土壤;7 月中下旬至9 月底成虫大量取食禾本科植物叶肉,准备越冬。幼虫、成虫对叶片的危害均可致使玉米叶片枯死导致减产甚至绝收。更多还原

【Abstract】 Sphaeroderma apicale Baly is a new pest found in mountainous areas of Hubei Prorince.Based on the compound result of with laboratory culture and field investigation,one generation of the beetles occured per year in Yiling country of Yichang.After overwintering as adults,the beetles always resumed to be active at the end of April when the temperatures were around 15℃ to 20℃ and fed on weeds.They began to transfer to the field in early-May and they fed on the leaves at this time.the larvae entered the leaves between early-June and mid-July,then started to emerge.The damage made by larvae and adults may cause the leaves to wither and lead to production decrease.更多还原
