Bi-2223/Ag超导带失超传播的数值模拟
Numerical simulation of quench propagation of Bi-2223/Ag superconducting tapes
【摘要】 对Bi2223/Ag超导带的失超传播过程进行了研究.建立了导热冷却条件下的超导带失超模型,用数值模拟的方法来研究超导带的失超传播特性.通过对导热偏微分方程的有限差分数值求解,获得了失超过程中超导带温度的空间、时间分布,并由此获得失超传播速度及其变化规律,同时分析了可导致失超传播的最小起始失超长度以及与导线承载电流的关系.计算所得失超传播速度在3~6mm/s之间,并且发现失超传播在某一电流值以下被截止的现象.
【Abstract】 The quench process of Bi-2223/Ag superconducting tap was studied. The quench model under the condition of conduction cooling system was established and the quench propagation properties were studied by using numerical simulation method. The simulation results show the quench propagation velocities and the changing rules from the temperature distribution of superconducting tape in space and time. The relation between minimum initial quench length leading to quench propagation and its transport current dependence was analyzed. The quench propagation velocity calculated is about 3~6?mm/s and it can be cut-off under certain current value.
