【Abstract】 In the 20th century, the research on JIA Zheng and Lady Wang in the field of A Dream of Red Mansions mostly takes the form of the positional criticism in the early and middle periods, since the later period some scholars have began to analyse these two characters from different perspectives-culture, aesthetics and period, then discovered “goodness" and “evil" in these two characters’ thoughts and personalities from various aspects and acquired new breakthrough.
