【Abstract】 Use of CTMAB as phase transfer catalyst on the esterification of isopentyl acetate was studied. The optimized conditions are following: the weight of catalyst is 1g/mol iso-Amyl alcohol, the mole ratio of acid to alcohol is 2:1 and the reaction time is 100min.The yield was 77.56 %. Experiment results showed that phase transfer catalyst (CTMAB) is highly active catalyst for this reaction. It is an inexpensive and very practical method.更多还原
