【摘要】 现代汉语的鼻语汇对鼻子的文化赋值,引发了对汉语形成过程中对鼻子文化赋值的探讨。考察揭示了汉语进化过程中“鼻”的本字“自”的衍生和分裂及其发展,揭示了汉字的构字语境和现代汉语鼻语汇背后所反映的汉民族心理:兼有“鼻”与“自己”二义之古字“自”,曾经或有刚强桀骜之义,但在“枪打出头鸟”和“柔弱胜刚强”汉文化历史发展进程中,此义渐渐淡去,鼻这个五官中之至刚至突出者,到了现代汉语中逐渐演变成至弱者。汉语发展过程中对鼻的文化赋值的脱胎换骨大转变,在无意识的层面上体现了《老子》“守弱曰强”的思想。更多还原

【Abstract】 The cultural value detected in a previous investigation on contemporary Chinese linguistic data concerning the word "nose" leads to our further research on this word in a historical perspective. Our attention is focused on Chinese characters containing the two nose morphemes, 鼻and自. The phonological and morphological split between鼻and自and their later developments after the split serve as an index of a general historical trend of the cultural disposition of the Chinese people and the relevant linguistic data may be regarded as an unconscious embodiment of Lao Zi’s moral teaching: "Strong are those that hold the position of the weak."更多还原
