【Abstract】 Henry More was one of the most influential figures in 17 th century in Britain. He employed natural philosophy to defend religion and established his philosophy based on it. More claimed that both matter and spirit are of extension. He argued that void exists and space is infinite, regarding space as a spiritual existence and one attribute of God. More’s concept of space became an important foundation of Newton’s idea of absolute space-time.更多还原
