【Abstract】 Lü Chengquan, a well-known clinical expert throughout the country, devoted himself to clinical practice, teaching and research of traditional Chinese medicine. His academic thought originated from Miraculous Pivot. He learned from Zhang Zhongjing, the four eminent physicians in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties and physicians of school of warm-heat pathogens in the Min and Qing Dynaties. He established his unique academic thought since he was well-read and connected his theories with practice ,His theories included: the spleen and kidney as fundamental; swelling due to stasis, excessive violent pathogen, stomach-qi leading to the heart, fungus belonging to turbid damp and Yin pathogen, differential treatment of Yang and Yin jaundice from the excess and deficiency of the spleen and stomach, emphasiting regulating qi in treating edema, fever due to internal injury. All these theories promoted the advancement of traditional Chinese medicine.更多还原
