【Abstract】 The understanding of simple obesity from the perspective of TCM and the achievements in treating the disease in the last decade are summed up in the present paper. TCM has an advantage in treating the disease by differentiating syndromes and diseases, single-drug prescription, massage, acupuncture and moxibustion with few side effects and a low recurrence.
