【Abstract】 Authority, as a kind of institutionalized legal power, is the power and prestige which can make people convinced. The nature of authority is the reflection of some social relations. Authority produces influence power; therefore it is quite necessary for a teacher to build proper authority while developing educational activities. The authority of a teacher consists of three elements: knowledge, teaching ability and personality power, among which, intellectual authority is the basis, capable authority the mainstay and personality authority the backing. The concept of lifelong learning should be established, the construction of the teachers’ professional virtues should be reinforced and the self-concept of the teachers should be continuously enhanced in the field of education, thus cultivating and improving the individual authority of teachers.更多还原
