【Abstract】 All the cases that related to the Bill of Lading must fix on the party, and first we usually need to ascertain the drawer of the B/L - Carrier. It is important to make sure the real carrier. This essay describes the recordation of carrier on B/L; also, it clarifies the standards that differentiate the carrier and actual carrier. At last, I expatiate how to identify the carrier on B/L of chartering.
