【Abstract】 The paper reviews private higher education research in China. It is found that more research effort and publications are available with the development of private higher education. Under China’s special circumstances and the research characteristics, private higher education research shows the following characteristics: more prescriptive paradigm, less empirical paradigm; more policy-oriented, less theoretical analysis; more economic perspective, less social perspective.更多还原
