湍流横向射流大涡模拟及大尺度结构的涡环模型
A vortex ring model of large-scale structures for simulation of turbulent jets in crossflow
【摘要】 采用大涡模拟方法数值模拟了流向椭圆喷嘴的湍流横向射流,重点研究其旋涡结构的产生、发展等动力学演化过程.结果表明:文献中所报道的横向射流基本涡结构,如反向旋转涡对、前缘涡、后缘涡、悬涡、肾涡、反肾涡等并非独立的物理实体,而是分别对应于新发现的横向射流基本涡结构———起始于喷嘴的三维拉伸涡环的局部结构.
【Abstract】 A numerical simulation was made of the turbulent jet in crossflow with a stream-wise elliptical nozzle by use of the large-eddy simulation method, with emphasis on the generation and development of vortex structures. The results show that the basic vortex structures in literatures, such as the counter-rotating vortex pair, leading-edge vortices, lee-side vortices, hanging vortices, kidney vortices, anti-kidney vortices, etc. are not the independent physical substance, but are local structures of the 3-D stretching vortex ring originated from the orifice of the nozzle—a newly discovered basic vortex structure of turbulent jets in crossflow.
